Question: Can you flash an xbox 360 without opening it and voiding your warranty
I need advice on how to flash my xbox 360 without voiding my warranty and getting stuck if something stupid happens.
Is there a software or should i connect the USB port on top of the ethernet cable to connect to the computer to flash
Answer: At this moment in time I do not think there is a way to flash your 360 without having to open it up. A few things to take into consideration is what kind of DVD drive you have in your XBox, & also what kind of hardware is inside.
The DVD drive can be checked relatively easily by just turning on the console & ejecting the tray, each different model drive has a different tray : http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/Xbox_360_DVD_Drive_Comparison.htm
The harder one to find out is your batch number which can be found on a sticker on the box the console came in. You can check which batch numbers are compatible to be flashed by going here : http://www.360drives.com/list & wittling down the options to find the batch your XBox came in.
I had a bit of a time doing this as I din't have an XBox, but I managed to get a 2006 Pro on the cheap. Also, I took my console to be done (as I know I would've bricked it!) & as the tech guy opened it the sticker that must remain intact was lose on one side & perfectly stuck on the other, so the sticker remains intact still!
It's a bit of a pain to do all the running around & also you may get your XBox banned from Live for this.

the nintendo ds (original) came out on 2004 and the nintendo ds lite around 2006. is there going to a better system than a dual screen system with wifi? i am asking because i want to purchase a ds but will wait if there is a new system to save money
Answer: Surely Nintendo is planning on an upgraded DS and a Game Boy successor at some point. But I wouldn't worry about it... if you don't have a DS buy one! I've got an old one, and though it doesn't look as cool as the DS Lite, it is a blast!
